GPS is excited to WELCOME BACK Staff & Students tomorrow (Thursday, January 4, 2024)!

Greetings GPS Family!
It's that special time of year where your fellow neighbors, GPS staff, and GPS students tempt fate and plunge into the icy waters of a frozen lake to benefit the Special Olympics. The Polar Plunge will again be close to home at Turk Lake and take place on Saturday, February 3rd. If any of you are brave enough to join the other crazy people, it's really not too bad.....just a bit of a shock to the system. AND...it's for a great cause. The Special Olympics do some pretty amazing things for some of our very own students right here in Greenville. It's a VERY worthwhile organization and this event is one of their biggest fundraisers.
If you would like to join the FROZEN JACKETS team, please e-mail (mike.walsh@gpsjackets.org) and we'll be happy to get you the information you need to sign up.
If you'd rather support the FROZEN JACKETS by donating some much needed funds, please do so by any of the following methods:
1. Donate ONLINE by going to this website: https://give.classy.org/frozenwalsh24. Click on the "Donate" button and follow the directions.
2. Cash. Please send all funds to your home school and they will make sure the team gets it before the deadline. :)
3. Check. Please make checks out to Special Olympics.
THANK YOU FOR WHATEVER YOU'RE ABLE TO DO IN SUPPORT OF THIS WORTHY CAUSE! If you have a free minute and want to see a short video of last year’s Frozen Jackets, check it out here: https://youtu.be/TjKqI48KLZs?si=vmPN05BJNKAJQpK4.
