💡Did you know? The proposed GPS Sinking Fund will NOT raise your current tax rate. Currently, our debt millage rate is 4.7 mills, but is scheduled to drop to 3.2 mills this summer. The proposal asks for 1.5 mills, which would maintain the 4.7 mills total rate.
💪📚This allows us to keep our schools strong while staying financially responsible, and since there's no interest cost, every dollar goes directly to students. 👧👦

Each year our 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade students take the M-STEP assessment. Parents can help by making sure that their child is in regular attendance, receives a good night's sleep, & encourages all students to give their very best effort! If we work together, the students of Baldwin Heights can continue to STOMP the M-STEP! :)

Please join the Baldwin Heights PTO today, Sunday, April 13th 3 PM - 4 PM! Come out and help decorate our school's sidewalks with chalk drawings to encourage our 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders on their upcoming M-STEP testing over the next several weeks. We would like to encourage these students and the remaining grade levels during this heavy assessment testing period. Any amount of time is welcome!
