The Elmer Russell School Bell Award is awarded annually to a citizen or organization AND a GPS employee who has made significant contributions to enhance Greenville Public Schools. CONGRATULATIONS to our 2023 Elmer Russell School Bell Award Winners - Education Foundation of Greenville (EFG) and Michelle Blaszczynski.



GPS would like to thank our 2022 Elmer Russell School Bell Award winners for joining us in this year's Danish Festival Dansk Parade on Saturday (8/19). Parade photo includes Robin Walter, Vice President/School Liasion for the Flat River Historial Society & Museum, and Don Bryant, a recently retired maintenance from Greenville Public Schools. A special THANK YOU to Tinney Automotive for providing a vehicle and a driver for our award recipients to participate in the parade. GPS is grateful for all individuals and organizations that continue to support our staff and students.
The 2023 winners will be announced via social media soon, and they will be invited to participate in next year's Danish Festival Parade with us!

Danish Festival fun and Senior Sunrise helped kick off the days before school. Now we are so excited to have our students back in the building! Starting out strong with an amazing BMX bike show as we look at respect, responsibility, and resilience while ramping up to the Goal of Graduation and Beyond!!!



Mark your calendars to join us for Football Frenzy on September 8th as Wood TV 8 will be at GHS on Legacy Field, broadcasting live, and showcasing our school spirit! Everyone is welcome to come out, join the excitment, and be part of the fun on live TV!! As part of the event, high school students are encouraged to bring in donations for the food drive - see details below. Let's go Jackets!
