EFG hosts 3 scholarships specialized for seniors: Lyle Wysel, William "Bill" Martin and William "Bill" Braman (partnered with GACF). Stay tuned on how to apply for 2025/2026!
Lyle Wysel Scholarship
Mr. Wysel was a Greenville graduate in 1928 and had many fond memories of Greenville High School! Upon his death in 2002, he endowed a scholarship fund in his name to assist deserving students to pursue an education beyond high school. Since receiving those funds more than $220k has been awarded to more than 206 graduates. Students can use funds for the cost of universities, community colleges, trade and technical schools, and specialty programs. This is a non-renewable scholarship. Application Deadline is March 4th
William "Bill" Martin Scholarship
Mr. Martin was a beloved teacher at Greenville High School until he retired in 2001. He encouraged his students to have a desire to learn and the ability to turn a difficult situation into a learning experience. He prioritized good reasoning skills and an ability to articulate personal viewpoints, while remaining open to learning from others. Additionally, kindness and good character were key attributes he looked for in his students. Preference will go to those students with a financial need. Application Deadline March 4th
William "Bill" Braman Scholarship
Mr. Braman was a founding member of MCC Foundation and GACF and was active in the community in multiple ways. He believed in giving to graduating students who are in good standing, well-rounded and are interested in and can succeed academically at a higher education level. Preference may be given to students who will be the first in their family to attend a trade school, community college or university. Application Deadline March 1st
